Meet the Photographer.
Hello! My name is Mia :)
I was born and raised in Boca Raton, Florida, in the U.S. I have always had a passion for adventure and creative expression, which ultimately led me to pursue my career in photography. Photography has provided me with opportunities to travel and meet so many incredible people. My husband and I moved to Europe back in August of 2023, At the moment, our home base is in Prague. However, currently, we’re exploring countries all across Europe, searching for that perfect place to settle down and call home. Along the way, I’ve really enjoyed documenting all our adventures through my photography! Outside of photography, my hobbies include hiking, running, yoga, backpacking, lindy hop, sketching, and painting.

My Journey of Becoming a Photographer…
The day I fell in love with photography was in 6th grade when I stumbled upon my mom's old camera. I dusted it off and spent the entire day capturing photos outdoors. The image below is one of the photographs I took that day. It perfectly captured the joy and freedom I felt, and that moment solidified my desire to become a photographer. From then on, I eagerly photographed everything around me, including portraits of my family members. Through these portraits, I discovered my love of capturing human connection and emotion. I took photography classes in middle and high school. After graduating, I officially launched Mia Z. Photography and started internships and apprenticeships with many different professional photographers. Later, I worked as a photographer and production assistant at a photography studio in Atlanta, Georgia, for several years. I became captivated by the stories that a simple picture can tell. Photography has transformed my perspective, allowing me to appreciate the daily beauty that surrounds us in its simplicity.
